What Will Happen During my Martial Arts Class:
- A typical martial arts class involves a structured training session led by the instructor.
- Classes always begin with a full body warm-up consisting of stretches, cardio exercises, and basic movements to prepare the body
- The main part of the class will focus on striking, kicking, blocking, self defence and joint locking techniques
- Students will also learn forms, which are connected movements that help develop muscle memory and precision and is great for fitness strength and conditioning
- Sparring sessions provide an opportunity for students to practice their techniques in a controlled environment
